What we buy

We look for essential, unglamorous businesses that produce predictable cash flow. The common thread is not the industry, it is the economics. If your business looks like what follows, we would like to talk.

Geography
Texas first, with room for the right business beyond it.
Size
Roughly $250,000 to $1.5 million in annual cash flow (SDE or EBITDA), the range SBA acquisition financing supports.
Ownership
Founder-owned and family-owned businesses. We are not a fit for companies owned by institutions, private equity, or another fund.
Structure
Control acquisitions only. You can stay on in a role or step away, but the business gets one clear owner.
Not a fit
Franchises, software, technology, startups, and turnarounds, anything that needs the next big thing to work.

  • A diversified customer base, not one or two accounts carrying the business
  • Revenue that belongs to the business, not the owner's personal relationships, so it survives a handoff
